Verona Clay

Verona Fabric

Verona Clay is a warm, earthy woven textile with the softly muted character of fired clay. Its close-up surface shows a pronounced grain, with small lighter flecks catching across the brown ground.

About this fabric

The fabric has a substantial, irregular weave that reads as tactile rather than smooth, with the raised folds revealing subtle shifts between clay, camel and dusky brown. Fine pale threads are scattered through the surface, giving the colourway gentle depth without creating a formal pattern. In the photographed folds, the weave holds shadow along the creases while the upper ridges appear lighter and softly brushed. With no performance features or further specification data supplied, its suitability should be assessed against the requirements of the intended upholstery project.

How to use it

Pair Verona Clay with warm ivory, sand and dark timber for a grounded, relaxed room, or use it to soften a scheme of aged brass and terracotta accents. The muted clay tone is especially effective on generous, simply shaped seating where the woven texture can be seen.

Use this warm clay-brown weave to bring tactile depth to relaxed upholstery, cushions and softly layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
