Verona Kiln

Verona Fabric

Verona Kiln is a richly warm brown textile with a substantial, close-set weave. Its raised folds reveal darker brown depth alongside small ochre and tan flecks that keep the surface visually varied.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a chunky woven structure with irregular yarn definition rather than a printed motif. Its kiln-inspired brown sits on the warm, earthy side, while lighter threads catch across the ridges and deeper brown settles into the recesses. The visibly substantial handle makes it best suited to upholstery rather than delicate, fluid drapery. No composition, width or rub-test figure is supplied, and no performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Verona Kiln on a relaxed armchair, sofa or footstool to bring a grounded, russet-brown warmth into the room. Pair its tactile surface with aged timber, cognac leather and muted cream textiles for contrast.

Use this warm, tactile brown on upholstered seating where its chunky weave can add earthy depth and visible texture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
