About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm, muted flax taupe, with understated depth rather than strong contrast. The plain design and closely woven surface create a gentle strié effect that catches the light in fine horizontal lines. Made from 100% acrylic, it is specified for curtaining and comes in an extra-wide 315 cm width, making it especially practical for wide windows and seamless heading styles. With no pattern repeat to manage and no martindale rub test noted, it is best approached as a drapery fabric rather than an upholstery cloth.

How to use it

Use Flax with pale oak, limestone and soft white walls for a restrained, contemporary scheme. Its taupe warmth also works well beside natural linens, brushed metals and textured neutrals.

A wide-width neutral that works beautifully as tailored curtains or relaxed wave headings.
