01 Seaspray

Canterbury Fabric01

Canterbury 01 Seaspray has a very pale, cool aqua ground crossed by delicate vertical lines. The close tonal contrast gives the surface quiet, water-washed movement rather than a bold pattern.

About this fabric

This colourway combines a near-white aqua tone with slender, irregular striations that run vertically across the visible surface. Subtle shifts between the pale blue and lighter threads create a softly rippling effect, reminiscent of light moving across shallow water. The fine, fluid-looking appearance makes it particularly well suited to drapery, where the vertical direction can complement the fall of a curtain. Its restrained contrast keeps the overall impression airy and understated.

How to use it

Use 01 Seaspray at windows in coastal, contemporary or pared-back rooms, pairing its pale aqua tone with chalky whites, pale timber and soft grey-blue accents. Hang it full-length to emphasise the fabric’s fine vertical movement.

A cool, water-washed aqua with delicate vertical movement, especially suited to calm, light-filled window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
