About this fabric
The close-up reveals narrow vertical lines running through the cloth, interrupted by small variations in tone that keep the blue from appearing flat. Admiral reads as a dark, cool shade, with muted teal-blue highlights catching across the raised woven texture. Its substantial-looking, structured weave is well suited to upholstery where a tailored surface is preferred. The restrained pattern scale adds visual depth without becoming a dominant motif.
How to use it
Use this deep blue-grey on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair, pairing it with pale timber, warm ivory and brushed metal to soften its cooler cast. It also works well against charcoal, slate and other tonal blues for a more enveloping scheme.
