About this fabric
The swatch shows a dense woven ground with fine horizontal and vertical variation rather than a printed motif. Small tonal flecks and softly raised threads temper the saturated blue, while the close weave gives the surface a grounded, tactile appearance. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway. The visible weight and compact construction make it most naturally suited to upholstery applications, subject to project-specific suitability checks.
How to use it
Use 36 Denim on a sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its cool blue-grey depth can anchor pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal. The restrained texture also works well on panels or smaller upholstered details when a plain blue would otherwise feel flat.
Its cool denim-blue tone and close woven texture bring understated depth to upholstered seating and panels.
