About this fabric

The close weave is visibly formed from fine intersecting threads, giving the surface a subtle linen-like texture and restrained tonal variation. Pale stone, ivory and cool grey-beige fibres blend together, while the folds reveal slightly deeper grey shading. The fabric has a supple, softly folding appearance that makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use 22 Rice to soften a room with warm white, chalk or pale timber finishes, where its gentle greige tone can add depth without introducing a strong colour contrast. Its understated surface would work particularly well on relaxed curtains, occasional upholstery or cushions.

A softly mottled greige weave that brings quiet texture to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
