About this fabric

This plain Zoffany fabric has a dense, velvety appearance, with fine surface fibres creating a muted glow rather than a sharp shine. Its 814 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial presence suited to upholstery, particularly where a richly tactile finish is wanted. The usable width is 141 cm, and the supplied vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, so there is no motif to align. In this Smoke colourway, the neutral grey-taupe depth keeps the plush texture understated and sophisticated.

How to use it

Use Mohair Smoke on a deep sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool taupe-grey tone can anchor pale stone, chalk and warm timber. Pair it with brushed metal or darker wood to bring out the fabric’s low, soft sheen without introducing a competing pattern.
