Lacquer Wallcovering Cognac

Caractre Wallcoverings Wallpaper

Lacquer Wallcovering Cognac has a deep, warm brown tone with amber and russet notes across its softly layered surface. Fine horizontal variation gives the plain ground a quiet sense of movement.

About this wallpaper

Catalogued as wallpaper, this Cognac colourway presents a smooth, plain surface rather than a visible printed motif. Its reddish brown base shifts gently through darker and lighter horizontal bands, creating the impression of brushed or lacquered depth. The restrained texture keeps the design composed, while the warm saturation gives it a more enveloping, richly coloured presence than a neutral wall finish.

How to use it

Pair this warm cognac brown with dark timber, aged brass and camel upholstery for a layered, softly dramatic scheme. It also works as a grounding backdrop for cream ceramics or lighter natural textures.

Use this rich cognac ground to bring warmth and lacquered depth to a feature wall.

Pairs well with

Lacquer Wallcovering Cognac is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
