Drake Electric Teal

Drake Electric Teal is a saturated blue-green textile with a strongly tactile, nubby surface. The close-up reveals subtle tonal variation within the deep teal ground, giving this colourway visual depth without a distinct printed motif.

About this fabric

The fabric has a dense, irregular texture that reads as softly raised and highly tactile across the visible surface. Its electric teal tone is cool and intense, balancing blue depth with a lively green cast rather than appearing muted or greyed. The close-up texture catches the light in small variations, creating a gently mottled finish while retaining an overall rich, even colour. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this deep electric teal on an upholstered chair, sofa or ottoman where its saturated blue-green tone can act as the room’s focal colour. Pair it with warm ivory, natural timber or dark walnut to temper the cool intensity while keeping the textured surface prominent.

A saturated blue-green upholstery textile with a dense, tactile surface and quietly irregular character.

Pairs well with

Drake Electric Teal is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
