About this fabric

The design is formed from alternating teal and natural blocks, with slightly irregular edges that keep the checkerboard pattern from feeling overly rigid. Ocean teal reads as a muted blue-green, while the natural squares bring a lighter, sandy contrast. Fine horizontal striations are visible across both tones, creating depth and a subtly nubby woven surface. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its suitability should be considered alongside the intended project and usage.

How to use it

Use Checkmate Ocean on a relaxed occasional chair, bench or pair of curtains, where the cool teal checks can be softened by cream upholstery, pale oak and textured natural accessories.
