About this fabric

The surface is densely packed with tiny looped or raised fibres, creating a tactile finish rather than a flat, printed pattern. In this colourway, sapphire blue is heavily deepened with charcoal and black, so it reads as a cool, atmospheric shade. Slight changes in the nap catch the light unevenly, revealing soft blue-grey variation across the dark ground. The substantial-looking texture makes it especially suited to upholstered seating and other pieces where a tactile, understated finish is wanted.

How to use it
