About this fabric

The design is formed from small rounded cells in a structured grid, with the changing blue-grey tones creating depth across the cloth. Cerulean blue is the dominant note, while charcoal shading and pale grey soften its intensity; occasional lime-green marks add a lively lift. The dense-looking surface and clear construction make it best suited to upholstery applications. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so suitability should be assessed against the requirements of the intended piece.

How to use it

Use Tobia Cerulean on a streamlined armchair, dining seat or ottoman where its cool blue base can sit alongside pale grey, charcoal and natural timber. Repeat the lime-green accents sparingly through a cushion or small accessory rather than matching them across the whole room.

A cool cerulean ground, softened by grey and punctuated with small lime-green highlights, suits tailored upholstery with a contemporary feel.
