Gloria Chrysolite

Allure Fabric

Gloria Chrysolite layers irregular rectangular brushstroke forms across a chalky ivory ground. Its restrained mix of sage, pale teal and charcoal-grey gives the pattern a cool, quietly painterly character.

About this fabric

The design is formed from overlapping block-like rectangles, with softly feathered vertical edges that make each mark appear brushed rather than sharply outlined. Ivory and warm off-white areas dominate, while muted sage, pale teal and charcoal-grey accents create gentle variation across the surface. Fine vertical striations are visible throughout the motifs, adding a lightly tactile finish and allowing the darker marks to read with more depth against the pale ground.

How to use it

Use Gloria Chrysolite where a pale, airy base is wanted without losing pattern: it would bring subtle colour to a contemporary armchair, sofa or full-length curtain. Echo its muted sage and pale teal in surrounding textiles, keeping stronger colours away so the charcoal details remain understated.

Use its chalky ivory ground to lighten a room, with sage, pale teal and charcoal accents echoed in cushions or painted details.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
