Tarquin Dusk

Jacopo Fabric

Tarquin Dusk is a deep charcoal-grey textile with a quiet, finely woven surface. Its subtly varied threads give the plain colour more depth than a flat solid.

About this fabric

The cool charcoal tone is muted rather than black, with lighter and darker threads creating a soft, grain-like texture across the surface. A very fine, even weave is visible throughout the swatch, with no printed motif or directional pattern. The restrained surface has a smart, tailored character and reads as a versatile cloth for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Tarquin Dusk to give a room a calm, architectural foundation: it works particularly well on tailored seating, cushions or full-length curtains alongside pale stone, warm timber and brushed metal.

A cool charcoal ground with a fine woven texture, suited to tailored upholstery, cushions or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
