Juego Fabric

Ladder Obsidian combines a soft ivory ground with sharply defined charcoal lines in a repeating stepped pattern. The close-up reveals a tactile woven surface, giving the high-contrast geometry a softened, handcrafted quality.

About this fabric

The design is formed from interlocking, squared lines that create a continuous ladder-like rhythm across the cloth. Charcoal bands sit against an ivory background, while subtle grey and brownish variation within the weave keeps the contrast from appearing flat. The textured surface catches the light unevenly, adding depth to the dark lines and gentle movement to the pale ground. Its balanced scale and neutral two-tone palette make the pattern suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair this cool ivory-and-charcoal colourway with pale timber, blackened metal and soft grey upholstery for a quietly graphic scheme. Used on a tailored chair or Roman blind, the stepped motif provides pattern without introducing a bright accent colour.

Use the charcoal-and-ivory geometry to bring structured contrast to upholstery, cushions or tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
