About this fabric

The dense, irregular pile is visibly substantial and makes this fabric best suited to upholstery rather than light, fluid drapery. Its deep warm taupe colouring is softened by charcoal-brown shadows within the curls, while raised fibres catch the light in small tonal variations. The overall effect is earthy, cocooning and relaxed, with the tactile surface doing the visual work in place of a printed pattern.
