About this fabric

The colour sits between deep taupe, brown and charcoal, with lighter grey-brown areas emerging through the mottled shading. Broad, indistinct bands run across the swatch rather than forming a crisp repeat, giving the design an organic, animal-like character. Fine raised fibres soften the transitions between dark and light, creating a velvety, fur-like surface impression. This substantial-looking textile is particularly suited to upholstery where its tactile depth can be seen and felt.

How to use it

Pair this smoky taupe colourway with warm walnut, dark stained timber or aged bronze for a cocooning scheme. It also works as a grounding upholstery fabric beside soft ivory, stone and muted clay tones.
