Palisade Ember

Zambales Fabric

Palisade Ember is a richly warm terracotta-orange textile with fine horizontal striations running continuously across the surface. Its softly varied weave gives the colour a layered, ember-like depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The visible surface combines closely spaced horizontal lines with delicate tonal shifts from burnt orange to deeper rust, creating a quietly tactile appearance. The weave looks finely textured and even, while the subtle slubbing catches the light in narrow bands across the cloth. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway, so its suitability is assessed from the visible mid-weight woven appearance. As a textile rather than wallpaper, it can be considered for both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use this warm ember tone to bring concentrated colour to a reading chair, bench or upholstered headboard, then echo its rust and orange nuances with clay, tobacco and natural timber. Its fine horizontal texture can also add gentle visual movement to tailored curtains or cushions.

A warm, finely striated terracotta weave that brings depth to upholstery and softly structured drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
