Rhone Colour 1

Avignon FabricRHONECOL1

Rhone Colour 1 combines muted brick red with cool blue, olive green and pale cream in a closely drawn vertical stripe. The woven surface gives the design a tactile, softly weathered character rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

The pattern is built from repeated vertical bands, including fine checks, narrow colour bars and distinctive cream and blue geometric details. Brick red is the dominant tone, softened by dusty blue and olive accents that create depth across the width of the cloth. Pale cream lines pick out the central motifs and add a light rhythmic contrast. The close, textured weave makes this a versatile mid-weight-looking textile for upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Pair the brick-red ground with aged timber, warm neutrals and muted blue upholstery for a collected, heritage-inspired scheme. Use the vertical rhythm on a chair, roman blind or full-length curtain where its varied stripes can be appreciated.

Use this richly coloured woven stripe on upholstery or curtains to bring structured pattern and softened vintage character to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
