Mia Colour 11

Brindisi FabricMIACOL11

Mia Colour 11 sets a softly ivory ground against orderly vertical rows of warm brown, with each stripe formed from short, separated marks. Its lightly textured surface keeps the linear design feeling tactile rather than stark.

About this fabric

The colourway is led by a warm ivory-beige background, crossed by narrow brown dashed stripes that run vertically across the full swatch. The broken marks leave plenty of pale ground visible, giving the pattern a measured rhythm and an understated sense of depth. A subtle surface texture can be seen beneath the stripes, softening the contrast between the two tones. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification was supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory ground to brighten a relaxed room, while the brown vertical dashes echo walnut, oak or aged leather. It would suit curtains, cushions or an upholstered occasional chair where a quiet linear accent is wanted.

Pair the calm ivory ground and warm-brown dashed stripes with natural timber, linen and softly aged finishes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mia Colour 11 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
