About this fabric

The large-scale pattern is organised around symmetrical floral forms, with blue blooms and leaves set against a warm cream ground and taupe-grey scrollwork. Fine woven-looking detailing gives the surface depth, while the varied pale and mid-tone shades keep the damask from reading as flat or overly bright. This is a formal, decorative colourway with a cool blue presence softened by beige and taupe undertones. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the dusty blue and taupe palette with weathered timber, painted furniture and soft cream upholstery for a traditional room with subdued colour. Use it on a statement chair, occasional sofa or generous curtains where the large repeat can be appreciated.

Use this softly shaded damask to bring layered blue, taupe and cream pattern to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
