About this fabric

The softly muted palette combines cool blue-grey birds and blossoms with taupe leaves, pale beige petals and small touches of olive green. Detailed branches weave through the design, creating a medium-scale scene of perched birds, roses and scattered floral sprigs. The fine crosshatched surface adds gentle visual texture across the printed-looking motif. Catalogued as a fabric with no performance features noted, this colourway makes its strongest impression through its layered botanical detail and quietly aged colouring.

How to use it

Use Sophie Col 5 on a statement armchair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains where its warm taupe ground can soften a room. Pair it with blue-grey plains to draw out the cooler birds and flowers, or with natural linen tones to echo the beige background.

A softly muted bird-and-flower pattern that brings warm taupe depth and cool blue detail to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
