About this fabric

A central peacock sits among curling leaves and blue-toned blooms, with its tail picked out in layered blue, brown and taupe feather eyes. The cream background keeps the detailed composition light, while the muted blue gives this colourway a cooler, more quietly aged character than a brighter jewel-toned palette. A fine, even surface texture is visible across the ground, adding a softly nubby appearance to the image. The supplied record lists no performance features or further technical specifications, so suitability should be checked against the intended upholstery project.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or upholstered headboard where the peacock motif can be seen in full. Its cream ground and softened blue work particularly well with warm taupe walls, walnut timber and brushed brass.

Pair the cool peacock blue with warm taupe, natural wood and softly aged brass for a collected traditional scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
