Misc Velvet

Boulevard is a restrained taupe-grey colourway with a gentle brown warmth, giving the plain velvet surface a calm, enveloping character. Its soft tonal variation is visible across the close, subtly textured pile.

About this fabric

The image shows a balanced taupe-grey that sits between warm stone and soft brown, rather than reading as a cool grey. Fine vertical changes in the velvet pile create delicate tonal streaks across the otherwise plain surface. As a velvet, the close nap catches the light softly, giving Boulevard a quietly dimensional finish without a pronounced pattern. No composition, width, rub test or performance data is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Boulevard on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its muted taupe tone can soften darker timber, charcoal or warm neutral surroundings. The understated surface also works well when paired with more tactile plain linens and bouclés.

A calm taupe velvet with subtle directional texture for quietly elegant upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
