About this fabric

This velvet reads as a warm butterscotch shade, sitting between caramel, ochre and medium brown rather than a bright yellow. Its dense-looking pile catches the light in softly shifting bands, with slightly darker brushed areas adding depth to the otherwise plain surface. As a velvet, it is particularly well suited to upholstery where this plush, directional texture can be appreciated on curved or generous forms. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair the butterscotch tone with walnut, aged brass, tobacco leather or deep olive accents for a warm, cinematic scheme. On a sofa or statement chair, its softly changing nap will add depth without introducing a competing pattern.

Use this warm butterscotch velvet to bring soft golden depth to upholstered seating, headboards or occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
