Delphini Shell Fabric

Misc Fabric

Delphini Shell has a warm shell-cream ground threaded with fine horizontal rows of irregular pink, blue, green and charcoal flecks. Its close, nubby weave gives the pale colourway a softly broken, tactile appearance rather than a flat surface.

About this fabric

The woven texture is made up of small raised loops and uneven slubs, creating subtle depth across the cream base. Pastel pink and blue marks sit alongside muted green and occasional dark charcoal flecks, giving the colourway a gentle, confetti-like rhythm. Light catches the uneven yarns differently across the surface, so the shell tone shifts between clean ivory and warmer cream. This substantial-looking textile is best read as an upholstery fabric, with its textured construction providing visual interest on seating.

How to use it

Use Delphini Shell on an occasional chair, headboard or compact sofa where the warm cream ground can lighten the room without feeling stark. Pick up its delicate pink, blue and green flecks in cushions or painted accents for a softly layered scheme.

A warm shell-cream ground with softly coloured flecks, suited to relaxed upholstery where its tactile weave can be appreciated.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
