About this fabric

The design is built from uneven vertical bands rather than a rigid uniform stripe, with broad denim-blue sections alternating with narrow rose, ivory and muted olive-grey lines. The blue reads cool and softened rather than bright, while the dusty rose threads add a restrained warmth that breaks up the depth of the ground. Fine horizontal weave texture is visible across the swatch, giving the stripes a softly layered, tactile appearance. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring a calm, coastal-leaning depth to an upholstered chair, bench or pair of cushions, balancing the denim blue with warm ivory linens and picking up the dusty rose in small accents. Its vertical direction could also add gentle height to relaxed curtains.

The cool denim ground and dusty rose accents bring a quietly collected, relaxed feel to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elbrus Denim Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
