About this fabric

The design is built from medium-scale, uneven polygonal shapes in layered charcoal and slate grey, with lighter outlines that define each fragment. Within several motifs, delicate pale blue and warm ivory flecks add restrained points of contrast against the otherwise cool palette. The surface reads as softly textured and weathered rather than sharply graphic, while the light ground keeps the overall colourway airy. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Holland Charcoal on a contemporary occasional chair, headboard or tailored sofa where its cool mineral tones can sit alongside pale grey, chalk white and brushed metal. It can also bring subtle pattern to drapery without adding a strong warm or saturated colour.
