About this fabric

The colour sits between warm grey and muted brown, giving the fabric a grounded taupe character rather than a flat neutral appearance. Small irregular rectangular flecks shift gently in tone, while the close weave catches the light with restrained depth. Its visibly substantial woven construction makes it well suited to upholstery, particularly on pieces where texture is intended to do the decorative work. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Peel Taupe on a contemporary armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing its warm grey-brown tone with chalky neutrals, aged timber and brushed metal. Its low-contrast flecking also works well as a calm textural counterpoint to stronger patterned cushions.

A dense, tactile taupe-grey weave that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
