Es Cavalet 3 Fabric

Misc Fabric

Es Cavalet 3 has a quietly graphic horizontal rhythm, formed by broad woven bands rather than a printed motif. This colourway moves from saturated brick red to dark earthy brown and a misted blue-grey section, with red returning at the base.

About this fabric

The close, even weave gives the swatch a substantial, tactile appearance, while the broad stripe arrangement creates a strong sense of direction. Deep brick red provides the dominant warmth, interrupted by a dark brown band and a cooler blue-grey band threaded with fine tonal variation. The restrained contrast makes the colourway feel earthy and settled rather than bright, with the yarn texture softening each horizontal edge. No composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied, and no performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the brick-red and brown bands to add warmth to a tailored chair or bench, then echo the cooler blue-grey stripe with quieter painted or textile accents. The horizontal layout is particularly effective on broad upholstered forms where the banding can remain visible.

Broad horizontal bands and a dense woven texture give this colourway a grounded upholstery character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
