Rhubarb Iris Fabric

Misc Fabric

Rhubarb Iris balances a softly textured ivory ground with slender lilac-grey wave stripes. In this colourway, the muted stripe sits lightly against the warm base, giving the pattern a calm, airy presence.

About this fabric

The ground is a pale warm ivory with a visible fine crossweave, while closely spaced lilac-grey lines travel vertically in gently irregular waves. The restrained contrast gives this colourway a cool, quiet accent without losing the lightness of the ground. Its narrow stripe rhythm reads more graphic at a distance and more tactile close up, where the uneven lines and woven surface remain visible. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory base to keep a room feeling light, then repeat the lilac-grey in painted joinery, piping or soft furnishings. The vertical wavy stripes would bring subtle movement to full-length curtains, while the woven texture can also soften occasional upholstery.

Use the airy ivory ground and muted lilac-grey stripes to bring gentle rhythm to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rhubarb Iris Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
