Elan Cayenne

Istoria Weaves Fabric

Elan Cayenne has a warm, weathered character, with cayenne red and russet tones threaded through cream, olive, brown and charcoal. Its close, irregular weave gives the surface a softly nubby texture and lively depth.

About this fabric

The fabric is built from densely packed, short woven marks rather than a clear printed motif, creating a small-scale, broken texture across the surface. Rust and terracotta reds provide the dominant note, while pale cream, olive and charcoal flecks prevent the colourway from feeling flat or overly bright. The substantial-looking weave and tactile surface make it especially convincing on upholstered furniture, where its varied tones can disguise the uniformity of a single plain colour.

How to use it

Use Elan Cayenne on a statement armchair, dining chair or compact sofa to introduce warm, earthy colour without a solid block of red. Pair it with aged timber, olive accents and quiet neutrals to draw out the weave’s cream, brown and charcoal flecks.

A richly flecked rust-toned weave that brings warmth and visual depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
