Kendisi Medjool

Istoria Weaves Fabric

Kendisi Medjool combines a dusky terracotta ground with irregular charcoal striations that move across the cloth like weathered, branching marks. Its substantial, visibly ridged weave gives the colourway a dark, tactile depth.

About this fabric

This is a woven Fabric from the Istoria Weaves collection, Black Edition, with no performance features noted in the supplied specification. The muted terracotta shade leans warm and smoky rather than bright, while the charcoal pattern settles into the surface for a grounded, almost shadowed effect. Close texture and raised woven ridges are clearly visible across the folds, giving the design a substantial upholstery presence. The interplay of pinked terracotta highlights and near-black recesses makes the colourway read differently as the light moves across the fabric.

How to use it

Use Kendisi Medjool on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its smoky terracotta warmth can be balanced with charcoal, aged timber and softly faded neutrals. The dark branching pattern suits rooms with a layered, collected and slightly dramatic feel.

Use this deep, tactile terracotta weave to bring sculptural warmth and charcoal contrast to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
