Black Edition

Tsauri Mural Alabaster

Tsauri Mural Alabaster places loose, sweeping charcoal brushstrokes across a softly warm alabaster ground. The irregular marks give the mural a hand-painted, kinetic quality while the pale background keeps the overall impression light.

About this wallpaper

This colourway is catalogued as wallpaper and is shown as a full mural composition rather than a repeating textile weave. Broad black and charcoal marks curve and break across the alabaster field, with visible streaking and cross-hatched brush texture inside the forms. The warm off-white ground softens the contrast slightly, so the design reads as expressive and graphic without the starkness of a pure black-and-white scheme. Its large-scale arrangement is suited to a feature wall where the individual gestural motifs can be viewed as a complete composition.

How to use it

Pair the warm alabaster background with chalky whites, pale oak and charcoal accents to echo the mural’s restrained tonal range. In a darker room, use blackened metal or deep grey upholstery to bring out the brushstroke depth without competing with the artwork-like wall.

Use this warm alabaster mural with charcoal, blackened timber and restrained monochrome furnishings for a graphic yet softened wall scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tsauri Mural Alabaster without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
