Mallow Stripe Damson/Mauve/Taupe is a vertical woven stripe with a notably layered palette: dusky mauve and damson sit beside taupe, olive, cream and near-black lines. The close-set bands vary in width, giving the surface a rhythmic, tailored appearance.

About this fabric

The image shows a ribbed, linen-look weave in which soft mauve and lavender bands are interrupted by fine damson, taupe, olive and charcoal-black stripes. This 137 cm (53.82") fabric is made from 63% linen, 28% cotton and 9% nylon, giving the stripe a textured textile presence rather than a flat printed look. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. After care is listed as cool machine washing minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleaching and cool ironing.

How to use it

Pair the cool mauve and lavender ground with warm taupe upholstery, olive accents and dark timber for a quietly graphic room. Its vertical line works especially well on dining chairs, occasional seating, curtains or a tailored bedspread.
