About this fabric

This plain, close-set weave combines 63% polyester, 35% viscose and 2% polyamide in a 140 cm (55") width. The colour reads as a softened indigo: cooler and more atmospheric than a bright navy, with pale blue-grey threads tempering its depth. A 51,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test makes it a strong choice for upholstery, while the fine texture keeps the finish visually composed. The subtle crossweave adds interest at close range without competing with the clean, unpatterned ground.

How to use it

Pair Belsize Indigo with chalky whites, cool greys and weathered timber for a calm, tailored scheme. Its muted blue depth also suits a statement armchair or sofa where the close weave can provide texture without a bold motif.
