About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke fabric weighs 374gsm and has a 137cm usable width, giving the colourway a substantial presence for upholstery. The design combines overlapping fern-like and oval leaves in forest green, petrol teal, muted turquoise and warm ochre against a dark ground. At 68.5cm vertically and horizontally, the square repeat creates recurring foliage clusters while retaining plenty of visual movement. The softly textured, painterly surface makes the lighter leaves appear to emerge from the deeper green shadows.

How to use it

Pair Congo Forest with deep teal, charcoal or warm brown upholstery, then pick up its ochre leaf accents in piping, cushions or lampshades. It suits a reading chair, occasional sofa or upholstered headboard where the dense botanical pattern can be appreciated up close.
