Maddox Charcoal

Lusso Sheers FabricCCF0349-02

Maddox Charcoal is a cool, softly graduated grey sheer with a tightly ordered surface visible across the swatch. Its fine weave creates a restrained micro-grid rather than a decorative motif, giving the colourway quiet depth as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

The swatch shows charcoal and lighter grey threads arranged in a very fine horizontal and vertical weave, producing a subtle checked texture with no visible pattern repeat. At 103 gsm, this is a lightweight textile suited to drapery, while its generous 307 cm useable width is practical for wide window treatments. The supplied standard length is 40 m, and both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm. The cool charcoal tone reads softly layered rather than solid black, allowing the tiny woven structure to remain visible.

How to use it

Use Maddox Charcoal for full-height curtains or broad voile panels where its cool grey tone can temper brighter interiors and its fine grid can add texture without introducing a strong pattern. It pairs naturally with pale stone, concrete grey and brushed metal finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
