Chatsworth Orchid

Manor House FabricCCF0061-05

Chatsworth Orchid places delicate orchid-pink and plum flowers over a warm cream ground, with trailing stems and small circular blooms giving the design a finely detailed, collected feel. Its softly textured surface adds subtle depth without disturbing the lightness of the colourway.

About this fabric

The cream ground is crossed by slender taupe stems and leaves, while the larger flowers combine dusty orchid pink, pale lilac and deep plum accents. Smaller outlined blossoms and circular floral motifs bring variation across the 23cm vertical and 65cm horizontal repeat. A fine woven texture is visible across the 137cm usable width, lending the fabric a tactile, gently structured finish. At 308gsm, Chatsworth Orchid is a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use this softly muted colourway for relaxed curtains, an occasional chair or a pair of cushions, then pick up its plum centres and taupe leaves in the surrounding scheme. It works especially well with chalky cream walls, aged wood and understated mauve or olive accents.

Pair this cream and orchid floral with plum, taupe and soft natural upholstery tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
