About this fabric

The visible weave has a natural, linen-like texture, while the charcoal, taupe and muted mauve-grey botanical details create depth without becoming harsh. Large outlined blooms sit among looping stems, small leaves and rounded dotted flower heads across the surface. With a 137 cm usable width and 308 gsm weight, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its 23 cm vertical and 65 cm horizontal pattern repeats allow the trailing arrangement to continue clearly across a project, and the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Chatsworth Charcoal to soften a darker grey or charcoal sofa with its pale warm-grey ground, or make relaxed full-length curtains where the muted mauve-grey and charcoal stems can be read across the width. Pair it with chalk, mushroom, stone and weathered wood rather than stark white to preserve its gentle warmth.
