Sunforest Denim/Linen

Marianne Fabric FabricCCF0724-02

Sunforest Denim/Linen layers ochre sunflower-like blooms with cool denim-blue and teal foliage across a softly linen-coloured ground. The close-packed floral has a painterly, textural appearance and a distinctly cool, muted depth.

About this fabric

At 326gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suited to upholstery and drapery applications. Its 137cm usable width gives practical scope for furnishing projects, while the 68.5cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats create a pronounced, large-scale floral layout. In this colourway, ochre petals provide warm contrast against blue-grey, teal and deep navy leaves, with the pale ground allowing the design to retain definition. The uneven tonal shading visible across the blooms and foliage gives the surface a softly painterly character rather than a flat, high-contrast effect.

How to use it

Use the cool denim and teal foliage on occasional upholstery or full-length curtains, then pick up the ochre blooms with warm wood, brass or muted golden accessories. The linen-toned ground helps this richly patterned colourway sit comfortably with soft neutrals.

A substantial mid-weight floral for upholstery, curtains and coordinated room schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
