Acies Taupe

Purus FabricCCF0460-11

Acies Taupe is a muted grey-taupe textile with a close, irregular woven texture. Fine darker threads create a lightly flecked surface, giving the shade subtle depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The 247 gsm weight makes Acies Taupe a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery and drapery. Its tightly drawn, small-scale weave combines pale taupe and grey-brown threads in a softly broken linear texture that changes gently as the light moves across it. With a usable width of 140 cm and a 40 m standard length, it offers practical coverage for larger projects. Both pattern repeat measurements are 0 cm, so the surface can be cut without matching a recurring motif.

How to use it

Use this cool, softened grey-taupe on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme where its fine dark flecks can add quiet texture without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and deeper brown-grey accents to draw out its layered tone.

A quietly textured grey-taupe weave that works across upholstery and softly structured drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
