Leiden Blush/Ochre

Secret Garden Fabric FabricCCF0766-01

Leiden Blush/Ochre places tiny, individually spaced flower sprigs across a light ivory ground. Blush pink, ochre, pale blue and muted green details give the pattern a softly coloured, garden-like character.

About this fabric

The ivory background keeps this colourway light, while blush flowers and ochre-gold blooms provide its warmest notes; pale blue, sage and charcoal-green stems add gentle contrast. The small botanical motifs are arranged as separate sprigs rather than a dense trailing vine, leaving plenty of ground visible between them. With a usable width of 137 cm and a weight of 224 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. The pattern has a 31.5 cm vertical repeat and a 34 cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Pair the warm ivory, blush and ochre palette with natural wood, muted sage or soft terracotta in a relaxed bedroom, sitting room or reading corner. Its open spacing works particularly well on Roman blinds, curtains, occasional chairs and cushions where the small sprigs remain legible.

Use the warm ivory ground with blush and ochre sprigs to soften upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Leiden Blush/Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
