About this fabric

With a substantial weight of 627 gsm, this Clarke & Clarke velvet is particularly suited to upholstery and has a tactile, densely textured handle. The vivid pink-red tone reads as a cool raspberry rather than a warm coral, while changes in the pile create darker berry shading and brighter rose highlights. Its small irregular texture is arranged on a 22 cm vertical repeat and 6.5 cm horizontal repeat, adding surface interest without a large graphic motif. The fabric has a 143 cm usable width and is supplied in a standard 40 m length.

How to use it

Use Pulse Sorbet on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its intense raspberry tone can act as the room’s jewel-like accent. Pair it with softly chalky neutrals to temper the saturation, or echo the deeper berry shading with dark timber and smoked metal.

A substantial raspberry velvet whose tactile surface and saturated colour bring jewel-like depth to upholstered seating.
