About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke velvet has a sand-toned beige face crossed by narrow, irregular wave lines in slightly deeper neutral shades. The 3.6cm vertical and 8cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the motif small and controlled, while the changing direction of the lines adds a softly tactile appearance. Weighing 635 gsm, it has the substantial presence expected of a dense upholstery velvet. Its 141cm usable width and 40m standard length provide practical coverage for upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Tempo Sand on a sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its warm beige tone can soften darker timber and bring quiet texture to the room. The restrained wave pattern works particularly well with natural linens, oak and other earthy neutrals.

The warm sand ground and fine horizontal wave texture bring understated movement to upholstered seating.
