About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke velvet weighs 387gsm and has a useable width of 143cm, making it a substantial choice for upholstered furniture. Visually, the colour moves between vivid berry pink, raspberry and dark burgundy as the pile changes direction. Uneven vertical channels create a softly ribbed appearance rather than a sharply geometric stripe, while the 4.5cm horizontal repeat reflects the close-set rhythm of the surface. With no vertical pattern repeat, the fabric can be positioned without matching a height-based motif.

How to use it

Use Rhythm Sorbet on a statement armchair, headboard or compact sofa where its intense raspberry tone can act as the room’s colour focus. Pair the wine-dark shading with warm timber, smoked glass or muted blush accents to keep the velvet feeling deep rather than sugary.
