About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke Tempo Velvets fabric has a 143 cm usable width, a 40 m standard length and a substantial 387 gsm weight. The visible design is formed from narrow, loosely irregular vertical stripes, with darker brown edges breaking into lighter bronze-tan centres. The pattern has a 4.5 cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat, so the striping continues uninterrupted along the length. The velvet pile shifts between muted brown and glowing antique bronze as the light moves across it.

How to use it

Use this warm, earthy colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard, pairing its antique bronze depth with dark timber, aged brass and cream upholstery accents. The irregular vertical striping can also add gentle height to a compact seating piece.
