About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke velvet weighs 635 gsm, giving the fabric a substantial presence suited to upholstery. The close wave texture runs across the surface in irregular horizontal lines, catching the light softly rather than appearing glossy. With a useable width of 141 cm and a 40 m standard length, it is practical for larger upholstery projects. The pattern repeat is restrained at 3.6 cm vertically and 8 cm horizontally, keeping the berry surface visually continuous across a piece.

How to use it

Use Tempo Sorbet on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its deep wine tone can act as a warm, dramatic anchor. Pair it with aged timber, smoked metal or quieter neutral textiles to let the rippling texture provide the movement.
