Pulse Damson

Tempo Velvets VelvetCCF0025-05

Pulse Damson is a deep damson velvet with a dark plum-red cast and a closely textured surface. Its tonal pebble-like pattern shifts subtly across the pile, giving the colour visible depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The velvet is woven in a small, irregular cellular motif that creates a tactile, almost pebbled appearance across the face. In this colourway, the pattern is held within deep damson, burgundy and plum tones, while the pile catches the light softly across the shaded surface. With a substantial weight of 627 gsm and a usable width of 143 cm, it is particularly well suited to upholstery. The design has a 22 cm vertical repeat and a 6.5 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the compact texture to be positioned consistently across upholstered panels.

How to use it

Use Pulse Damson on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its saturated plum depth can act as the room’s focal colour. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutral walls to let the tonal texture remain visible without introducing another strong pattern.

A rich damson velvet with a tactile tonal pattern, suited to statement upholstery and deep-coloured accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
